Resulting from existing golf cruise guest demand, Trendsetter now runs a number of land only based golf tours each year. They usually stay at 5 star hotels and play the best courses available.
We have introduced regular scheduled tours to Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand and have scheduled golf tours to Te Arai and Queenstown in New Zealand in late calendar 2026. We have also run land tours to South Africa (2), Japan (with a 2nd tour scheduled for Oct 2026), Ireland and Argentina/Brazil. We have additional land tours scheduled for 2026 in Jordan and Greece and to Vietnam in 2027. All our land only tours and many of our golf cruises have been scheduled as a result of specific guest requests.
Golf Tours – Other and Land Based with Availability
We have a 5 night tour of Jordan in April 2026, including visits to Amman, Petra and Aqaba, which runs immediately prior to our 2026 Egypt Tour. Limited spaces remain available as most of the tour spots have been taken by those on the following Egypt tour. We include within our golf tours as we include a golf game at the Greg Norman designed international course in Aqaba. There is the option to not golf but visit Wadi Rum (includes lunch) with common pricing for both tour options – each is included within the tour cost. If you do not require a flight from Amman to Cairo, there will be a tour price adjustment.

Trendsetter Travel Golf Tours invites you to join its 2026 Japan Golf Tour. In selecting where to stay and play, our journey concentrates on 4 key golf/tourist regions in central Japan to minimise travelling time and maximise your Japan experience, with ample time for both golf and sightseeing. Our tour begins in the exciting metropolis of Tokyo (4 nights – 2 golf games), then travels to the Izu Peninsula, home of the famous Kawana Golf Resort (3 nights – 2 golf games). The tour then transfers to beautiful Hakone where views of Fuji are ever-present (4 nights – 2 golf games). After Hakone, we travel to finally conclude with Lake Biwa, 30 minutes from downtown Kyoto (5 nights – 3 golf games).
You are invited to join our Te Arai Links golf tour which includes attendance in our 72 hole singles and pairs golf tournament with 2 rounds on each of Te Arai South (2022) and Te Arai North (2023) Golf Courses. Single mens, ladies and pairs competitions will be held for the individual 18 hole games and for the overall 72 hole event. Te Arai South was designed by world-renowned US golf architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, joint designers of Barnbougle Lost Farm, known for favouring minimalist, links-inspired courses. Te Arai North was designed by Tom Doak, another leading international golf architect and designer of Barnbougle Dunes. Both courses now rank in most world top 100 golf course rankings. The courses are strictly walking only with 3 x wheel pull trollies but with plenty of access to specialist caddies to carry your bags. This tour will immediately precede an 8 x night Queenstown golf tour. For those joining the 8 night Queenstown tour, an economy class flight to Queenstown and transfer to your Queenstown hotel is included.

Excepting The Hills, this tour includes 6 games at each of the golf courses located within a 45 minute drive of our accommodation at Millbrook Golf Resort, arguably the best golf resort in Australian/NZ. Queenstown truly is the resort golf capital of Australasia with countless sightseeing and sporting activities, including magnificent golf, set against a stunning mountain and lake background. In contrast to our Te Arai tour, which dovetails with this Queenstown tour, all golf will be played in motorised carts.
Trendsetter Travel Golf Tours has released its inaugural Vietnam luxury golf tour – it follows 2 x days after the completion of Trendsetter Travel’s Mekong Golf Cruise and requires only a short flight from Siem Reap to Hanoi to link the 2 x tours. The tour is structured to show you the history of Vietnam with particular emphasis on the Vietnam War (1962 to April 1975) and at the same time enjoy golf at a selection of the best golf courses in Vietnam. You will play the top 2 x courses in Vietnam (including playing the # 1 rated course twice) and 5 of your 8 golf games are on top 6 x golf courses.
