We visited and played most of the leading golf courses in Netherlands in 2022.   We were stunned by the quality and history of the courses we played and surprised that there are now over 250 golf courses in the Netherlands.  There are some great coastal links courses, many built in the 1920s/1930s by Harry Colt and his associate Hugh Allison.  You can play golf courses in the top 100 of world golf rankings and 2 of the top 3 golf courses in continental Europe are in the Netherlands.  You should split your accommodation base between Den Hague and Utrecht and most of the great golf courses are within a one hour drive of your hotel.  A word of warning, driving a rental car will prove a challenge in the Netherlands with the complex street systems and so so many cyclists who take the view that every car should give way to them.  A golf tour of the Netherlands is best undertaken with pre booked golf and car transfers.
