Queenstown Golf Tour 28 November to 6 December 2026 (9 days – 8 nights)

Queenstown Golf Tour
28 November to 6 December 2026 (9 days - 8 nights)

Tour Cost AUD 11,900/Couple (AUD 5,950 pp Twin Share)
Single AUD 7,600 pp

We warmly invite you to join Trendsetter Travel Golf Tour’s 2026 Queenstown golf tour. This tour includes 6 games at each of the golf courses located within a 45 minute drive of our accommodation at Millbrook Golf Resort, excepting The Hills which is closed to visitors during its upcoming two-year upgrade.  Women’s and men’s singles and and pairs competitions will be held for each individual 18 hole games, with an additional Millbrook competition for all 36 holes at Millbrook played on both the Remarkables and Coronet courses.

Queenstown truly is the resort golf capital of Australasia with countless sightseeing and sporting activities, including magnificent golf, set against a stunning mountain and lake background.  It offers abundant accommodation options, among which Millbrook is clearly best-in-class. The resort is superbly maintained and while the courses, the trees and gardens might have matured since its opening in 1993, everything strikes the right blend of comfortable modernity within a very special landscape.

In contrast to our Te Arai tour, which dovetails with this Queenstown tour, all golf will be played in motorised carts.  If you elect to walk with a pull trolley for any of the golf games, we will provide a cash credit equal to the cost saving other than where golf carts are compulsory, i.e. Jacks Point and the Coronet Course at Millbrook.  An election to walk with a pull trolley must be made at the time of payment of your deposit.

Our Queenstown tour is close to the longest day of the year on 22 December, thus you will enjoy daylight from 6 a.m. until around 10 p.m.  We have chosen this pre-Christmas period as it avoids the large summer crowds and the various periods of annual course maintenance. It also allows us to get optimal group tee off times at all the golf courses we are scheduled to play.  While it is summer, note that New Zealand weather  can be very variable and you should prepare for cold to very warm temperatures.

Your tour hosts will be Adrienne Witteman and David Cooper.

ITINERARY SUMMARY

Fly into Queenstown on Saturday 28 November 2026 and independently transfer to our 5-star Millbrook Golf Resort (16 min/15 km) in time for included welcome drinks and dinner.  For those on the Te Arai Tour, your direct flight from Auckland and transfer to Millbrook, are included.

Accommodation is in 50 sqm Deluxe Studio Rooms with separate bath and shower located near the 15th fairway of the Remarkables Course, and the babbling mill stream.  Accommodation is easy walk to the breakfast restaurant and golf pro-shop.  Rooming is at your election in either super king or twin beds.  Subject to availability, the option exists to upgrade to an 80 sqm one bedroom suite, similarly well-located close to resort hub facilities.

We will play our total of six golf rounds over 7 days with a break in golf between the 3rd and 4th games to rest or independently explore Queenstown.

Millbrook resort has four restaurants, three of which are open most evenings.   There is a wide selection of very good restaurants in nearby Queenstown (20 minutes) and Arrowtown (5 minutes) by Millbrook’s mini-coach transfers.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Saturday 28 November 2026

Fly to Queenstown and transfer independently to Millbrook Golf Resort. Direct flights, of approximately 3 hours duration, operate from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Tonight meet your fellow golfers, and any  non-playing partners, at our welcome drinks and dinner function at Millbrook.

Inclusions – Accommodation, welcome function with pre-dinner drinks, group dinner with drinks

Sunday 29 November 2026 – Golf – Cromwell Golf Club

Following breakfast at Millbrook, depart by coach at 8.30 am to Cromwell Golf Club, along a scenic route which follows the Kawarau River.  We have a two tee start from 10 am on the Cromwell Golf Course.

Cromwell Golf Course was upgraded in 2010 under the guidance of Greg Turner.  This is an under-rated course not often played as part of the Queenstown golf swing and prides itself as the only sand based, links style golf course in the greater Queenstown region.

Tonight enjoy independent dining.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks post golf and prize giving

Monday 30 November 2026 – Golf – Coronet Course (Millbrook)

After an early breakfast meet at the pro-shop for tee off from 7.40 am on the Coronet Course (one tee start).  The two Millbrook courses are a regular venue for the NZ Golf Open, which takes place each year in late February.  They were designed and developed over several years with input from Bob Charles, Greg Turner and international course designer, Scott McPherson.  Post golf we will meet for drinks at the 19th hole bar/restaurant beside the 18th green.

Independent dining this evening.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks post golf and prize giving

Tuesday 1 December 2026 – Golf – Arrowtown Golf Club

This morning transfer to Arrowtown Golf Club, ten minutes’ drive from Millbrook. Established in 1911, it has been ranked in the top 10 golf courses in New Zealand at various times.  While not long, the many narrow fairways with tight approaches into greens makes this a most challenging golf course to play to your handicap. The course features several quirky golf holes.  Tee off is from 10 am.

Independent dining this evening.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks post golf and prize giving

Wednesday 2 December 2026 – Queenstown – Free Day

Today is free for you to enjoy. Queenstown is a veritable playground of activities, be it the thrill of jetboating or the more sedate cruise to Walter Peak, for a delicious luncheon and farm exploration. Or you might just choose to rest and relax at Millbrook. Whatever you choose is sure to please.

Independent dining this evening.

Inclusions – Accommodation and breakfast

Thursday 3 December 2026 – Golf – Queenstown Golf Club

Late this morning we depart for the Queenstown Golf Club, the original of all the Queenstown Golf Courses, founded in 1915.  While the club was relocated several times before finding its permanent home on the Kelvin Heights peninsula, it is arguably the most scenic setting of any golf course in New Zealand with magnificent views from every hole. Queenstown Golf Club has a reputation for having the fastest greens in the Queenstown area. Tee off is from 12.30 p.m.

Independent dining this evening.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks post golf and prize giving

Friday 4 December 2026 – Golf - Jacks Point

Today we depart at 8.30 am for a 30 minute transfer to play Jacks Point, with tee times from 9.50 am. This is arguably the best golf course in the South Island and certainly rivals the best in New Zealand.  Jacks Point club rooms enjoy a lovely ambience, perfect for drinks post golf.

Independent dining this evening.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks post golf and prize giving

Saturday 5 December 2026 – Golf – Remarkables Course (Millbrook)

This morning enjoy a leisurely start to your day before commencement of our 2nd round of golf at Millbrook on the Remarkable Course from 11.30 a.m (one tee star)

We will not meet for drinks immediately post golf as we will gather at one of the Millbrook restaurants for group drinks from 6.45 pm followed by dinner and prize giving for both the final golf round at Millbrook and for the thirty-six hole Millbrook event.  This will enable plenty of time for everyone to shower and change prior to our final group function.

Inclusions – Accommodation, breakfast, golf, drinks pre dinner, farewell dinner (including drinks) and prize giving

Sunday 6 December 2026 – Tour Concludes

Our Queenstown Golf Tour concludes today. Transfers to the airport are on an independent basis. Should you choose to extend your stay in Queenstown at Millbrook for an additional cost of AUD 575 per night, breakfast included, please advise.
